We walk by principles and truth and not by emotions, triggered by what is going on in the world today.

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

"... didn't you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don't you see that you cannot live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body."

Showing forth Glory meaning doing the work of God in the Kingdom of God.

According to scripture, Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

When we are obedient to God's word, it gives God glory when we obey Him.

According to scripture, John 4:23 (NKJV)
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

We have to settle the fact that we have to live by truth and not by emotions. We cannot become emotional roller coasters when it comes to us making a commitment to God that we are going to serve Him.

According to scripture, I Corinthian 6:20 (NKJV)
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

You are going to have to will it to happen. You are not automatically going to fall into this truth. There are going to be things on the inside of you that are not going to want to yield to this truth. However, when we decide to do truth, there will always be outside forces trying to get us to go another way. If were going to obey truth, we have to understand regardless of what comes in, we cannot allow it to stop us from our commitments, such as paying our tithes and giving our offerings, showing up on time, being accountable to our word and commitment to God.

According to scripture, Luke 6:38 (NKJV)
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Giving gives glory to God. Giving is a principle in the Kingdom of God, in the word of God, and in your life with God. There is no way around it, out of it, or under it. It is so!

According to scripture, II Corinthians 9:6-8 (NKJV)
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
