As we enter the new year, we need to start it off right and the place where we need to start first is change within Us!
We can never get to a place where change is no longer needed. Anyone believing they have already arrived and feel change is no longer needed, they have already learned enough, is a person who has chosen to stop growing. Therefore, I am asking you to understand that change is necessary and stretch your borders wide and set your heart to receive the word of God and change. God is expecting more from us!
According to scripture, I Corinthians 6:20 (NKJV)
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
In other words, as you go about your deeds and your works and the Glory of God manifests through you, people will see your works and Glorify God our Father and are inspired to change and move towards better in their own deeds and works. Therefore, know that the works you do are not yours alone nor are in and of yourself, but are works intended to Glorify God, so that men will see those works and Glorify Him, the Father.
According to scripture, John 10:10 (NKJV)
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
In order for us to step into our relationship of change, it has to be done through God. It is the will of God for us to experience His best in life. It is God's desire to experience new and rewarding experiences. It is God's will for us to experience Showers of Blessings that overflow in every area of our lives including our spiritual life, our health, finances, family, and more; every area you can think of and including those you have not yet thought of!
According to scripture, Isaiah 42:8-9 (NKJV)
8 I am the LORD, that is My name;
And My glory I will not give to another,
Nor My praise to carved images.
9 Behold, the former things have come to pass,
And new things I declare;
Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
You are God's Glory and He will not share that Glory with anybody else. God has crowned men and women with His Glory. Our God is a jealous God and all praises are due Him. So be sure you are connected with a bible believing Church in your local area. Make it your business to get connected and stay connected so that you may grow, learn, and hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say concerning you. Hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say about the things that have been, the things that are, and the things that are soon to come. God has a life full of Blessings to Shower upon you. So hear our heart and connect with the Body of Christ and hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say concerning you.
According to scripture, Isaiah 43:18-19 (NKJV)
18 “ Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.
When you are preparing yourself for change, do not dwell on your past. Do not dwell on your past victories nor your past failures. Concentrate on your future with God and set your hope and expectations on "What are you doing now?" and "What you will be doing in the soon to come!"
According to scripture, Philippians 3:12-14 (NKJV)
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Changed in Christ!
There is a component that causes this change to happen and the component is the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is able to cleanse and wash us clean extending even through a 1000 generations. The Grace of God is sufficient to save and deliver us from anything. So why not allow Jesus the opportunity to be Jesus? Why not allow Him to comfort you and assist you with the change wanted and needed?
Jesus Christ our High Priest
Jesus Christ is our High Priest. He is the mediator between us and God. Jesus is the voice that says to God, the Father, do not put upon them or hold them accountable to the penalties for their sins. Father, I take upon myself all of their sins; set them upon Me on their behalf and let it not be against them nor their account. Through Me, all men can be healed, cleansed, and set free.
Jesus has delivered us from a life of sin consciousness. We are no longer under the curse of the law, but are now free in Christ. So if you are wanting to experience this life of change, this life of freedom, this life showered with Blessings, you must receive Jesus Christ as your Lord, you must receive Jesus Christ as your High Priest. Earthly tabernacles have their benefits, but are limited when it comes to your life and your soul, only Jesus is able to save and deliver you to a life of eternity, a life of change, a life fulfilled abundantly.
According to scripture, Hebrews 9:11-12 (NKJV)
11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
Know that Jesus died on the Cross for our present, our past, and our future. Therefore, we can rest assured, anything and everything concerning us is already settled in Heaven and on the Earth. Jesus has obtained our eternal redemption!
